Hockey Alberta Identifies Top 46 Athletes for Team Alberta Program

Hockey Alberta has identified the top 46 U16 female hockey players for its Team Alberta program. After the 2009 Team Alberta Challenge which had 120, the list has been narrowed to 46 athletes bringing Hockey Alberta one step closer to developing for the Team Alberta squad competing at the 2011 Canada Winter Games.

The development process for the top 46 Alberta players will continue with a four day long provincial camp in Camrose July 23 – 26^th, 2009. The camp will expose these girls to high levels of competition and test their abilities to compete.
